Fly Lebanon Paragliding

A Lebanon-based paragliding school established by founder Walid Medawar in his love for flight and freedom.

Paragliding pilot and instructor Walid Medawar experienced his first flight in July of 1999. His passion for flying has caused him to continue sharing the sport ever since.

Fly Lebanon Paragliding offers tandem flights for single or grouped individuals who prefer to discover paragliding along with a professional instructor. Additionally, private/group lessons are offered for those interested in becoming solo paragliders.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to spread the paragliding culture and lifestyle in Lebanon and around the world. We hope to create a gratifying flying experience for all adventure-seekers and lovers of life. Fly Lebanon Paragliding stands for self-expression, individuality and the passion for flight.

Standards and Objectives

Since 1999, with almost two decades of flying experience, Fly Lebanon Paragliding has abided by the rules of Federation Fraincais de Vol Libre, FFVL (French Federation of Free Flight).

We take it upon ourselves to share our passion for flying while behaving as exemplary safety-conscious ambassadors.

All instructors maintain high professional standards, continually upgrading their professional status, know-how, and proficiency by participating in consistent paragliding trainings and workshops in Lebanon and around the world.

Fly Lebanon Paragliding has participated in training the Lebanese Army in Paragliding.
